In preparation for their coming out party at TechCrunch Disrupt, the Seismic team wanted to wow the crowd by showing their powered clothing, a fusion of apparel and lightweight robotics. With a gently flowing camera, the spot imbues their brand value of ‘onward’ and visually communicates the benefit of getting folks with mobility issues back to what they love with a match action cut, bringing the camera from a dining room into a nature hike.

To demonstrate the possibilities of their new platform, Next Thing Company introduced Dashbot, an dashboard AI to control music, maps and messages with just your voice. Working with company employees (read non-actors) it was important to keep the copy tight and pointed. The opening POV shot, designed to communicate the dangers of texting while driving quickly transitions into a direct address to the audience and introducing the product.
