Volvo

When two time Olympic Gold medalist Garrett Weber-Gale was asked to do a spot for his local Volvo dealership, he wanted to tell a personal story and go beyond the traditional local car commercial. Further developing a concept by Concordia University students, we leveraged Volvo’s superior safety features and Garrett’s swimming experience with microseconds – that last second Michael Phelps fingertip gold medal relay… Garrett swam the second leg!

Being strong advocates for water conservation ourselves, working with Cal Water was an easy decision. We wanted each of the pieces in the campaign to show a unique side of the story of water. In Bad Days, featured here, we comically feature a story of a world without water until our heros, Cal Water, flip the switch. This series was directed and produced in Southern California in collaboration with Mike Kirsch, Cinematek Creative, and our Los Angeles network of allies.

New Holland

Broadcast throughout Canada

As a part of their New Holland Smart campaign, Charleston Orwig needed a nimble crew to execute a Canadian national TV spot in rural Sasketchewan. Working quickly to avoid an unexpected spring freeze, the shoot was pulled a day earlier and the crew worked their tails off to maximize the last sunset before the deep freeze. Judd Farris, discovered for this spot, became the voice of the larger New Holland Smart campaign.
